Childrens creativity killed!!

PreFace: In this video Sir Ken Robinson talks about his expiernce being a college professor, and how creativity is being kille everyday by teachers, in schools. He also covers certain stories, and things he has heard of or seen, that has to do with the importance of letting kids express thier creativity, and what hapens if they dont get to.

My Response:
After watching this video i soon discovered that i was not the only pewrson that was feeling this way. I for the longes ttime have had this same positionon this topic. Why must childrens creativity be killed by schools. Kids these days are being shyed away from their creativity. I love the point in this video when he says that "the goal these days is to raise every kid to become a college professor". Point being that being a college professor is not bad, but it goes to show that not everybody is successful at being a college professor, so why are schools, and people around us constantly taking away or educating their kids away from their creativity. I also love the point that was brought up saying " that dancing should be just as important as mathematics". What is so bad about expressing creativity. Let kids become their own peerson sure im not saying let kids run wild with no instruction, grammar, or any other schooling, but dont shy them away by making one subject more important than another just because one is based on creativity, and the other on calculators, and algebraic equations. let kids think and be free.
